Space Oddity, Inc. Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how and when Space Oddity, Inc. (“Space Oddity,” “us,” or “we”) collects and uses your information when you use Space Oddity’s website, (the “Site”). When using the Site, you consent to Space Oddity’s use of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. Irrespective of which country you reside in or supply information from, you authorize Space Oddity to use your information in the United States and any other country where Space Oddity operates.

What information we collect 

At present we only collect personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) in the following ways: (1) when you choose to subscribe to newsletters or blogs and provide limited personal information such as your name and email address, and (2) Personal Information we get from certain services such as Google Analytics. In addition, we may collect device IDs and IP addresses from Site users, which is considered Personal Information in certain jurisdictions.  

Personal Information is also collected from certain content management and measurement services that we use, such as Google Analytics, which collect device identifiers (such as IP address and device ID), date and time of Site access by users and mobile network information including phone number, which enables us to gather aggregate demographic information about Space Oddity’s users, and in certain cases provides us with more detailed demographics about Site users.

How we use information we collect

Personal Information is used in order to subscribe you to Space Oddity’s newsletters or blogs and to facilitate such activities.

We do not disclose Personal Information to third parties unless we have informed you, been authorized by you, or are required by law to disclose such information.

Other information, such as that collected from cookies and other technologies, like Internet or pixel tags, placed by services such as Google Analytics, is used to gather broad demographic information about Space Oddity’s users in general, which is used for audits and to perform statistical analysis of user behavior in order to measure interest in various areas of the Site and to ensure a better user experience on the Site. Much of this information is anonymous and aggregated data, which is used to generate reports for various business purposes.

We may share, sell or trade with third parties the aggregated, non-personal information (e.g. number of users who searched for a particular term or how many times a particular link was clicked on), as well as anonymized information such as Internet Protocol (IP) address, mobile ID and user agent, but this information does not identify you individually.

Use of cookies and similar technologies

The Site is hosted by Squarespace ( Squarespace employs cookies on their hosted websites to track certain visitor information – details of their cookie policy are available here: Outside of Squarespace’s cookies, the Site does not include any cookies. 

Correcting Your Information and Opting Out:

With respect to email newsletters or other communications sent you about the Site, upon your request, we will remove your Personal Information from Space Oddity’s database or permit you to opt-out of further communication of this nature if you simply send an email to, and place the word “Unsubscribe” in the subject field.

The Site contains links to third-party websites, especially social media sites.  We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of any other website, which are subject to the privacy policies on such websites.


We take commercially reasonable precautions to keep any Personal Information disclosed to us via the Site secure, using physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure such information against unauthorized access or use. Nevertheless, we cannot guarantee the security, accuracy, or completeness of such information or Space Oddity’s procedures, and your use of the Site is at your own risk.

Policy Towards Children

The Site is not directed to persons under 18 without written consent from a parent or guardian, and are not directed to persons under 13 under any circumstances. If you become aware that a child under 18 is using the Site without the consent of a parent or guardian, or that a child under 13 is using the Site under any circumstances, you agree that you will promptly contact us at

We do not knowingly collect personal information from users under the age of 13. If we are made aware of that we have such personal information, we will take reasonable steps to promptly delete that information.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, in order to comply with law and as deemed necessary for the Site and Space Oddity’s business. If we update or modify the Privacy Policy, we will post the updated revision to the Site and indicate the date of revision, which is when such updated Privacy Policy became effective. If we make a change to this policy that, in Space Oddity’s sole discretion, is material, we will notify you via an email to the email address associated with your account or through the Site.  By continuing to access or use the Site after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.

California Privacy Rights

California law entitles residents to ask us for a notice describing what categories of personal information we share with third parties or with corporate affiliates for those entities’ direct marketing purposes. Space Oddity does not provide any PII to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. The Site is hosted in and managed from the United States. If you are a user located outside the United States, you understand and consent to having any personal information processed in the United States. United States data protection and other relevant laws may not be the same as those in your jurisdiction. This includes the use of cookies and other tracking technologies as described above. In certain circumstances, courts, law enforcement agencies, regulatory agencies, or security authorities in the United States may be entitled to access your personal information.
